Majestic Campuestohan Highland Resort

We can value our lives more than we can value our travels. We have the chance to meet fascinating people and learn about various cultures. Our travel aspirations will become more attainable if we plan wisely. So, here are some of my travel tips and suggestions to help you avoid costly blunders and make the most of your holiday.

As a tourist or traveler, I’ve learned that we must first learn what not to do in a tourist site and what can be done. As a result, it helped me avoid making mistakes and be more aware of what can happen next while visiting tourist attractions. It also helps me to give my friends an idea of what to expect before they go to a tourist attraction. I will share with you about my visit to one of the most well-known tourist destinations in Negros Occidental Philippines, which is located between Bacolod and Talisay.

Campuestohan Highland Resort is an ideal escape for both kids and adults. It is also one of the most beautiful and pleasurable tourist sites in the Negros Occidental Philippines, situated between the cities of Bacolod and Talisay. The total area of the Highland Resort is believed to be five hectares. It is also one of the most popular tourist destinations, drawing visitors from other places, not just Negros’s residents. The tourist destination is owned by Richard Tan and Nita Tan. The resort also offers a variety of activities that are likely to please visitors.

My family and I had always intended to visit Campuestohan Highland Resort, which was also recommended by a family friend. The resort is believed to be one of Negros Occidental’s most stunning tourist attractions. So, in June 2019, my family and I decided to visit this resort. And, in my opinion, most people are correct when they claim that the resort is not only alluring but also spacious. I can't deny that was awestruck by the beauty of Campuestohan Highland Resort especially it was the first time I had the opportunity to visit there. There are numerous travelers there in addition to us. Because the resort is far from us, we had to drive about three (3) hours from our place in La Castellana.

Since we visited the resort in 2019, the resort is not yet rigorous and has not requested a vaccination card. Unlike now, when the covid-19 virus is spreading, tourists must meet the prerequisites before visiting a destination. Before the travelers can enter the resort, you have to pay 200 pesos for entrance. Only children under the age of two are admitted for free.

Campuestohan Highland Resort also offers great accommodations for travelers who want to stay for overnight at the resort. These rooms are the Raphaella Windmill and Mill from which travelers can choose it’s either the presidential suite, junior suite, regular room, and the barkadahan room. There is also a Mamooth Room, Dino Park Rooms, King-Kong Room, Indian Village, Bonita Hut, and Log Cabin Rooms. Tourists who only want to visit the resort and do not intend to stay overnight can select among umbrella huts, small cottages, and large cottages.

Some of our family friends advised us that if we wanted to stay at the resort overnight, we should book as soon as possible because they often say that their rooms are fully booked. It is also because there are so many visitors from other places visiting and staying for the night. Foreigners are known to be among the tourists.

Tourists can participate in a range of activities at Campuestohan Highland Resort. Zipline rope course, one-way sky bicycle, 15-minute horseback riding, hamster wheel, grand carousel, mini train, cable paraglide, viking ride, walking dinosaur, and basketball shootout are among the rides available. The resort’s swimming pools are also open to visitors. It contains a wave pool and a kiddie pool, and tourists can also relax in their foam bath, which is near to the pool. Children can also enjoy playing at Campuestohan Highland Resort's playground. Tourists can take photographs of the resort’s tourist attractions. Tourists will also appreciate the resort’s natural experience and the magnificent scenery of it. Because of the magnificent vista and the gorgeous color green, it reminds me of one of Leyte's campuses, the Visayas State University.

The gigantic dinosaurs are another tourist feature at Campuestohan Highlands Resort that visitors appreciate. Various dinosaurs can be seen here, some of which have also been seen in movies. When I saw the dinosaurs, I was reminded of a time when my mother and I visited Hong Kong Disneyland, which also has attractions where you can see hippopotamuses, elephants, and other animals.

As a tourist we also had to be responsible. We have to constantly consider what should and shouldn't be done. One thing we must not do is dump our trash wherever in the resort, thus we must constantly remind ourselves and our colleagues who wish to visit in the resort. In my opinion, it is really necessary for us to research and learn a new place that we want to visit. Because this is also a huge assistance to us in terms of knowing what to do and what not to do. Supporting the local economy, in my opinion is particularly crucial since you know your money is going back into the community and the people who are hosting you, rather than some unknown corporate entity.
